Malaysian customs will carry out large-scale customs inspection in Port Klang on the container unloaded at West Port and North Port due to the festive season starting from 20\/03\/2024. At the same time, the import taxes for all items will also have adjustments. The current customs clearance time for MyPoz\u2019s containers is one day.<\/p>\n
MyPoz will increase the cost of customs clearance to meet the tax requirements of all import goods and reduce the chance of customs inspections due to tax evasion (as the inspection might delay the efficiency by 5-14 days or more). Hence, the sea freight surcharge of West Malaysia will increase from 10% to 15% because of the increase in cost and SST.<\/p>\n
For customers who can accept long customs clearance periods at a lower cost or would like to inquire about the costs of a container or a single item (more than 20m\u00b3), kindly contact MyPoz customer service for further details. As the inspection is uncontrollable, MyPoz appreciates your understanding for any inconvenience caused.<\/p>\n
Sensitive goods that cannot be loaded starting from 16\/03\/2024:
\n1) CIDB products (wires, floor tiles, iron bars, iron plates, aluminum bars, construction materials, etc.)
\n2) MITI products (electronic vehicles, electronic motorcycles, etc.)
\n3) Simulation knives and toys, adult sex toys<\/p>\n
